“This event is an opportunity for you to ask me questions firsthand . Firsthand information is always a good idea – get it directly from the horse’s mouth, as the saying goes.
I would like to get your questions answered, but if there is not an opportunity at this forum, please don’t hesitate to call me. I believe knowing a person’s core values is critical when casting your vote. I am a Republican and those values, and more, guide me everyday.
If you know me, I enjoy thoughtful engagement. I would like the opportunity to talk about your concerns; or to lightheartedly solve the world’s problems.
My home number is 209-245-6221. I am here to answer your questions.”
